Opens for Whoopi Goldberg ASensation! was contacted by Bob Benia (Smart Talk Women's Lecture Series producer) looking for a female DJ to get the crowd revved up for guest speaker Whoopi Goldberg. On May 17, at the Civic Center in Des Moines, ASensation! co-owner, Roberta Randall, provided 30 minutes of music by female artists and had the crowd of over 2,700 on their feet, dancing, clapping and singing along. It created a fantastic welcome for Whoopi! |
